본문내용

1. Teacher presents photos through PPT and asks students to describe each photo.

2. Teacher gives new vocabulary with its denotative and connotative definition. Then teacher explains these words in relation to synonym and antonym.

3. While giving a lecture, teacher asks questions frequently to have students’ participation.

1. Students learn new vocabulary related to describing people by looking at photos.

1. Teacher shows one example of how to do the activity.

2. There are various formats for “Wanted” handouts that include montage of different people. Teacher distributes one of those to each pair.

3. Teacher tells students to describe the montage on the handout in pairs using new vocabulary that they have just learned.

4. After they finish, teacher shows each handout on slide, and asks some students to describe their montage.


1. Students sit in pairs.

2. Each pair gets a handout.

3. Students describe the given montage on the handout.

4. Students voluntarily give description of their montage to class.

1. Teacher puts students into groups.

2. Teacher gives a list of photos to every group. Teacher explains the situation: You are waiting at the airport for your cousin whom you have never met before. You will be given questions. Try to answer in groups. If you get it correct, you will be given one clue that describes your cousin. Only after you get a clue, you will be given one chance to make a guess. The first group that finds the cousin wins.
1. Students sit in groups of 3~4.

2. Students try to answer the questions in groups.

3. With the given clues, students will find the cousin.
