1) Reason we chose this drama
We chose ‘Desperate housewives’, drama of USA, for our team project. ‘Desperate Housewives’ is about each story of four housewives. This mystery comic drama is very popular in USA, by treating about housewives boring life, aberration and many events about murder and other cases. In routine life of housewives, like keeping house and living in society, we can find many scenes about consumer behavior. Because it provides many real various example of spending while describing the life of the middle classes housewives concretely. By matching these scenes with Consumer behavior theory, we tried to deeply understand about consumer behavior and apply in real life.

In this episode, one man (Tom) who searching for jobs wants to do plastic surgery because he thinks he has too old face to pass the job-interview. But his wife, Lynette, don't want him to do plastic surgery. So she explains to him how dangerous the plastic surgery is and shows him a person who fails plastic surgery. But despite Susan's effort, his attitude does not change. Finally, by persuading and teaching, Susan makes Tom's attitude change.
