Summary
The narrator is a lawyer working in Wall Street. He hires Bartleby, the Scrivener and problem begins. Bartleby refuses to do what the narrator want him to do and reject to communicate. Bartleby’s inhumanity makes the narrator upset, and finally Bartleby is abandoned. Abandoned Bartleby is sent to the prison and dies.
