It is found that Hwang-Yong-Sa is the largest Buddhist temple in Orient by 288m in the area of Wall inside,South-North 281m, Whole area about 20000 p'yongs and they arranged this area by reclaiming the ooze.
황룡사의 배치는 다른 사찰들 보다 독특하며 예전에는 황룡사 목탑터 옆에 언덕이 있어 전체적인 배치를 확인 할 수 있었으나 근래에 없어졌다.
The arrangement of Hwang-Yong-Sa was more peculiar than the other temples, they could certify the whole arrangement from the hill beside Hwang-Yong-Sa but disappeared on recent times.
황룡사 9층탑은 정면과 측면은 모두 일곱 칸의 사각평면 형식이었다. 탑을 9층으로 한 것은 주변의 9개의 나라들로부터 안전하기를 위함 이었다.
Front side and side of Hwang-Yong-Sa were four corners plane form of seven rooms all.
To Protect thier country from the surrounding 9 conntries, they made 9-storied-tower.
