1.1 Motivation and Purpose
The more our life is affluent, the more the interest in residence is increased. We have a lot of criteria to choose residence. For example, our criteria for selecting the residence are the child education, commuter time, proximity of commercial businesses and proximity of cultural and sports facilities, etc. Among all areas that meet these criteria, Seoul, the capital of the Republic of Korea, is the best area that anyone want to live once. Seoul is composed of 25 administrative districts. Each district has different characteristics and some of them are similar. Thus, the objectives of our project are to set preference for an imaginary person and find factors which can best explain the characteristics of administrative districts of Seoul, and then, to divide each district into groups using the factors. Finally, we are going to recommend district by simulating these results for an imaginary person.
