This project purpose is analyzing and comparing FS of slope between the numerical analysis program and values using expressions are suggested by another researchers, and understanding influenced factors of slope safety. Through this, we can know that axial impeller is not suitable. Also, because of wide width of tank, it has poor mixing.
Second, there is a problem with chemicals. PAC is injected with Cl2, so activation of Cl2 must be restricted.
Also, using alum may cause settling.
Alum lowered pH in localized area. To overcome this
a fluid regime characterized by low momentum diffusion, high momentum convection, and rapid variation of pressure and velocity in space and time.
1. Turn on the water supply
2. open the discharge valve partially at the base of the apparatus.
3. Adjust the water supply until the level in the constant head tank is just above the overflow pipe.
(It should be maintained at this level.)
