○ 정책집행에 관한 연구는 행정학이나 정책학이 학문적 독자성을 갖게 된 초기에는 거의 관심을 받지 못했다. 그러나 1960년대 후반 이후 미국을 중심으로 집행분야에 대한 관심이 서서히 형성되기 시작하여 1970년대에는 관련 분야의 연구들이 상당히 진행되게 되었다.
