In addition to the real world experience, I was very interested in finance academically as well. After a year, when I was studying macroeconomics and financial accounting in Nassau Community College, I could learn about banking, stocks, national securities and how to analyze a firms performance. As I studied them more, my passion for finance grew more. I want to know about how money flows, how the worlds economy is related to the stock market and how to make a good portfolio. I want to study about investment, money and capital markets, and managerial finance.
To fulfill my dream to be a financial analyst, I want to further my education to MBA. I did some research about University of Illinois and found that the school has terrific supportive professors. One of the finance Alumni from UI, Denise Maple selected banking as a career because of her professor. With such sincere professors and its outstanding programs, I believe the university will satisfy my academic passion and professional goal.
