본문내용
Importantly, the yin-yang theory emphasizes the harmony between two opposite principals, rather than the dualism between them. Categorizing the world in this way, and stressing harmonization, proved beneficial for Chinese medicine, art, anatomy, pathology, psychology, diagnosis, and so on - all of which were greatly improved in the Han dynasty. However, although it encouraged an advanced civilization, the influence of the yin-yang theory was not entirely positive. Even though the theory focuses on harmonization, we can still see that strict dualities were problematic, as they fostered both class and gender inequalities.
