① The proportion of English-medium courses increased from about 10% in 2002, to 22% in 2004, and to 38% in 2008.
② The number of foreign students attending KU nearly tripled, from 284 in 2002 to 874 in 2008. / The number of foreign professors also increased, from 85 in 2003 to 212 in 2008.
③ The number of articles published by KU professors in international academic journals rose from 1,614 in 2004 to 2,509 in 2008.
④ The CTL survey results also show that students, by and large, found English-medium courses to be satisfactory. (Meaning that students believed EMI leads to improved English proficiency)
