Korea and Turkey started
a FTA negotiation in April 2010.
The third round of FTA resolved six different issues.
The 3rd round meeting would be helpful to minimize opinion differences.
Bureaucratic regulations
Turkey keeps improving the trade system. But still bureaucratic process exists. The guidelines are not clear, and they change frequently.
Deposit of import license
Turkey government requires the deposit of import license. In the second half of 2005, Turkey applied deposits of import license on some goods.
Unstable politics
Politics are very unstable. AKP is an Islamic party. There is a possibility of conflict with military forces. AKP party and the separatist movement of the Kruds are very risky.
