시각은 일상 생활에서 매일 사용하고 가장 많이 묻고 답하게 되는 표현의 하나이다. 영어로 익힌 숫자를 활용하여 실제로 시각에 대해 이야기해 봄으로써 학습한 내용을 실생활에 바로 적용하여, 학습의 효과와 학생들의 학습 동기를 높이는 데 이 단원의 의의가 있다.
